Cool! BTW, does anyone have used copies of their Master Course In High-End Blocking & Staging DVDs that they don't need any longer (and want to sell)?

The new app looks good. Since I already had Omnigraffle, I created an identical template to their 2D scene layout diagrams. Very handy. I'm currently boarding my feature, and have over 1400 completed boards and several hundred to go. I'm associating each board to a camera in Omnigraffle, as well, I'm cutting all the boards to a scratch track in FCP.

Why so much planning? The big problem with my film is that I have too many locations. I've trimmed/combined as many locations as I can, but I still need the shoot to go like clockwork if I want to make my days.

I love Hollywood Camera Work DVDs, and I'll take the plunge into their app once they release the new features they are currently developing; particularly collaboration & 3D previs.

I currently use Maya for 3D previs, but I'd appreciate having a smaller application that provides some built-in features specific to camera layout. Maya is great, but it's a little like bringing a grenade to a fist fight.

Have you looked at google sketchup?

Sketchup is good as well. I use it to build easy models, or use the library to export OBJ props for Maya, where I can bang out an animated previs.
