Canon 1014 XL-S - right price?

Hi all,

I'd like to purchase a Canon 1014 XL-S, but only if in mint conditions. I've read prices for these camera should go from $600 to $900 - how much should I pay for one in Mint conditions?

I've seen a couple on Ebay. Thanks.

That's about right. This is an awesome camera! You can find the XL (non-sound) a little cheaper than the XL-S usually.

This camera is top-notch for super-8 filmmaking. I wish I had one.

Thanks for your reply, and for this amazing website!

I've seen a great one on Ebay, the guy is also very serious, and one on an irish shop. Price is close, but the one at the irish shop is not in mint conditions as the other on Ebay.

Can I ask you why don't you have one if you like it? Too expensive?
