watch Grits III - A wild short filmed in Amsterdam

Hey guys,
Me and some buddies spent a few weeks in Amsterdam this past summer, and took advantage of our time there to film something. Grits III is actually the third part in a series of wacky and experimental short films, each of which is unrelated in every way but name. It's 11 minutes long, but I think its worth watching all the way through (although I'm probably biased). It hasn't gotten much feedback or attention, but I would really love to know what you guys think...

Thanks so much for watching!

This was shot with a Canon HV20; unfortunately, I wasn't able to get an external mic for this shoot so the audio was pretty bad. I spent a while trying to clean it up in Soundtrack Pro but you can tell it wasn't recorded under the best circumstances.

The editing is good and some nice shots there i like the one when he is tied to the pier.. or under the bridge.
The acting was decent, at first i didnt like it but it got better.

The only thing for me that made it a little hard to watch for 11 minutes was the music.

So make the music a bit more subtle and try not to have your bikes and bags in the shots :)

Thanks for the feedback! In regards to the music, are you saying that I should lower the levels? Part of the reason I had the music at that volume was to mask the audio artifacts from the shitty on-camera mic we were using. Were there any scenes whose music stood out to you as being particularly distracting? Thanks again for watching
