I was bar hopping with friends in San Francisco about a year ago and I saw a huge Film Crew setting up in front of the Old Paladium Night club on Columbus (Cant think of what its called now). Anyways I talked to one of the guys setting up lighting and he said that it was an indie film (Could have fool me.. they had like 3 trucks full of film equipment) and that Sean Penn was going to be in it .

Does anyone know if this will be released in theatres or is it going to be on HBO or any information of when it will be released?

It's produced by New Line and directed by Niels Mueller from a script by Mueller and Kevin Kennedy.

It played in Cannes in may and just opened in Belgium on the 4th.

I haven't heard of a US date yet.

Im looking forward to it. is it some offbeat movie in which Richard Nixon really is assasinated like a "What if" scenerio or is it about a guy who is attempting to kill him or based on a true story where someone is conspiring to kill Nixon?

Last time I checked to see if there was a trailer it said it was still in production.
