does the camera realy add ten pounds

not in my experience, people always tell me that I look very different in my films.
Thinner, older and less weird.

It depends on the lens.

I heard that the camera cant get the image perfect so it comes out larger, but ten pounds seems like its over duing it

I've been told I look quite good on film, I think it is slimming.. but that's just me, I find white slimming..lol

i dunno the camera is a long arch enemy of mine :twisted: it seems to add 20 pounds, horns & a weird green sheen to my skin!

It depends on the lens, that's true for sure. Also, it depends on the lighting sometimes. (I'm speaking as a photographer, but I'm sure it's true for both)

I can't stand to see myself on TV, that's why I work behind it.
