Hilton Media Management in NYC is seeking interns for the FALL and WINTER.

Experience requirement: You must currently be in or have graduated from a Film / audio program OR provide proof of basic knowledge in one of three areas:
1. Visual Effects/After Effects/Graphics
2. Basic knowledge of protools and audio editorial
3. Basic knowledge of FCP suite and Picture editorial basics
The bad news:
THIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP.
HOURS: 3 days per week - 10:00 until 18:00 most days ( but we work late when we have deadlines to meet)
START: Aug 15th 2012 - END: Feb 15 2013
LOCATION: West village, Manhattan NYC.
The Good News:
We will spend time training you on various aspects of production and Post-production
You will get hands-on on a number of projects including a VFX heavy SCi_FI feature, a feature length Doc, and various broadcast projects and other film projects.
You will learn quite a lot.
You will walk out (if you successfully complete the internship ) with professional credits.
Many of our past interns have started their own post companies or gone on to land jobs in the industry.
You will work with pros on FCP suite, Photoshop, Aftereffects, Protools, and other software and hardware systems.
DAILY DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to)
Assistant Editorial using FCP and apple suite tools
Assistant Audio editorial using Protools and associated software / hardware
Assistant VFX editorial and support utilizing After Effects, Photoshop, Cinema 3D, etc.
Work and support our team in NYC and in London UK from our NYC location.
Transfer / Log / capture / render / audio & picture editorial / systems support
LEARNING... LOTS of LEARNING. If you show interest and are proactive we will spend quality time teaching you.
