Inviting feedback; trailer and website online for new short

Dear All,

A short while ago we posted to this forum requesting feedback on the mini site for our latest short How To Disappear Completely, many of you kindly spent some time checking it out and letting us know what you thought.

The site has been polished thanks to the feedback and there is now a 30 second trailer/clip of the film available for viewing on the site; only in windows format at present unfortunately, but less than 1mb in size; once again we welcome any feedback from anyone with some time to check it out, the site link is;

We are also pleased to announce that we will be at this years Cannes Film Festival, where How To Disappear Completely will be screening at the Short Film Corner, Saturday 15th May, just after 6pm local time, come and check it out if you're around for the festival! More screenings and festivals planned all over Europe, the Americas, and Australasia throughout 2004.

Looks fantastic. That's a great clip, well done. How'd you get the deer to show up?

Checked it out. Looks good but unfortunately I couldn't hear the dialog. I think it's my sound system, I don't know. Good luck this month. I'll be there next year hopefully to shop my feature.

Thanks for the feedback so far...

For a trailer it is a little vague, but I really wanted to avoid one of those trailers with all the exciting cuts in it as that would misrepresent the film (though we are discussing doing a spoof "Hollywood" version with some CGI and explosions... The hope really is to intrigue those who are likely to enjoy the film...

Unfortunately Short Film Corner isn't eligible for the Palme; maybe next year!

The deer was more luck than judgement, she came from a protected herd living on land open to the public, so many of the herd are confident and comfortable around people; you could even stroke her head, if anything she seemed to enjoy the attention and just grazed around or tried to steal our lunches, and fortunately we managed to get a few good takes.

Dialogue; sorry you couldn't hear it, I've checked and it should be fine!

Mr. Renegade; hello too, we're based in Maidstone, Kent, approx 1 hour from London, liked your site; drop me a line if you have time would be interested in hearing about your team's plans in more detail, we're doing some similar stuff to encourage new film-makers in the UK at present.
