Urban Assault Warrior. Action short! Comments and feedback welcome!

This is truly a short.... maybe 1:30 seconds in length. It is action and comedy tied together. This is the first one we have done together and actually put time into. We finished it in one week with about 40-50 hours put into the video.

Let me know what you all think!
Thank you for any feedback and watching our video, and if you sub thank you also:)

I thought this action short was amazing. The effects really worked, and the little touches of humor was right on. I subscribed to your channel. Good work.

I can't say much about the story (such that it is) but the effects are excellent.

- Add some weight to your camera or use a shoulder rest.
- @ 0:22 there's some large CMOS sensor jello going on. Shutter speed is too slow. Speed it up, meaning you'll need more light, meaning you'll need a larger aperture, meaning your DOF will narrow. Ha!

How did you do the "blow back" shot @ 0:46? Just speed up a few frames?

I liked the SFX. Good shooting action. Something to smooth out the camera - anything - a shoulder rig, steadicam, anything at all might be an idea.

How did you get the little 3d sensor to pop up on the screen?

Thanks for the feedback guys! We are getting a steadycam next or a shoulder mount. Still trying to decide....Baby steps haha.

The blow back shot didnt have any frame skips or speed ups. I tied an extension cord to my buddy, we at first thought we would need multiple people to get him yanked back properly but I tried it by myself first... counted to 3 and yanked him as hard I as could....He flew backwards! Then in post my partner Gallagher *jamming terrorist* removed the cord from the shot.

and thank you for subscribing Derek! We plan on having one of these videos out once a week on tuesdays!

As for the 3d pop up Gallagher created a basic lay over in photoshop then did a lay over in after effects and warped it with 3d time space.
