I'm replacing my XL1. Love the XL but I need to go HD. Is the
Canon XLH1 a good camera? I have a budget of about
3 grand and I'm seeing some great shots gotten with that
camera and then some awful ones that look worse than
my XL1. I love the XL interface and it'll be great to just go
to an HD XL. I've used the HMC150 some and it's in my
price range. I like the look and feel, but if I could go with
Canon and still have back ups on tape, that'll be my first
choice. Do I lose a lot of quality with miniHDV as compared
to AVCHD? Thanks for the help!
