The Atlanta Underground Film Festival is on a mission to elevate
the concept of cinema from simple entertainment to a prestigious
art form. We focus on exposing underrepresented film and video
artists who's work proves to break the artistic barriers created by
typical Hollywood production$, while enlightening and educating
the community. Every genre, from shorts to features, will be
represented in this three day festival.

This year, the Atlanta Underground Film Festival is inviting
emerging film & video artists to create works to be screened at the
festival in relation to the current Presidental election. Artists are
invited to create their own "election advertisments" for any of the
Presidental hopefuls. These works can be shot in any format, but
must be under 15 minutes. Unlike our current media system,
these projects must focus on the truth behind the lies in our
corrupt political system. A winner will be chosen and awarded
based on audience response ballots during the festival. There is
no charge to enter a piece for The Underground Election. Story ideas must be emailed before 4/18/04.
All entries must be received before June 9, 2004.
