Guys, particle programmes... any suggestions? I.E. any programmes that generate explosions, shattered glass, water droplets etc for post-production effects... what's out there?

Doesn't Maya 3D have particle generation of some sort?

It may well do! What I'm after is a programme - or even a plugin! that has predefined effects which you can tweak and turn into what ever you're wanting - maybe my expectations are too high?

But! Actually I came across a programme called particle illusion the other day... and that was almost what I wanted... but i'm just interested in trying out other bits and bobs...
