Canon T2i Setting(Something Wrong)

I got out and filmed my cousins mustang today and before the shot i adjusted the white balance, iso, and couple other settings. After filming RAW footage and upload to vimeo. It looks as if my T3 shoots better video than my T2i here are 2 different videos from the cameras. I don't know if its a newb error but from all the other videos on youtube. Their T2i with kit lenses produce a much clearer picture than mine.

Well you need to practice more. First off, keep your hand steady. You don't want someone to get sick. Next, play around with the settings and see what happen. Devote a few minutes/hours just shooting. Also, remember to manually focus when filming. =))

Manual Focus,
it was on autofocus but could that have anything to do with the quality of the film

different subjects, the T2i was all about the roads and the long view, the T3 was all about closeups on the car.

Testing like that wont tell you anything useful.

Your T2i footage looks a bit out of focus. Auto focus does NOT work in record film mode on that camera.

Whats an example of t2i footage that you want to look like?

Your not doing anything cinematic, so don't expect cinema quality. :)

I was going to shoot a little short film based on a 3 minute car chase... I don't expect superb quality, however my Droid X shoots the same as my T2I. Id like to see quality such as this

Well, the filmmaker of the short film used different lenses. You'll really get great quality from other lenses than the kit. That being said, if you don't have the money, the kit lens will do just fine (I still have the kit and I use it all the time). All you have to do is like I said, master your camera. Then, play with lighting. Afterwards, tweak your footage on your video editor (color correction, curves, etc...).

Practice, practice, practice!
