people often says they preffer premiere since you can use after effect.. but my question is this: is it neccesary to make the video in premiere in order to edit it in after effects? Cant i just make the video in vegas and then edit it in affter effects. ??

i dont know of the quality of video is better of you first use premiere..

yes you can.

I edit the film in Premiere but then I do all the titling and add the music in After Affects - the quality seems good when you do it this way.

The only thing you need to worry about when working in AfterFX, is importing and exporting in the same format/settings you started with in Vegas. (Same thing for Premiere).
