Hey I want to know if anyone has a good way to make a DIY hidden camera for a DSLR like the 5d m2 or 55d. I'm trying to do a prank video but i don't want the camera to be visable so that the person doesnt know whats going on

Mount the camera under something that can hide the camera (under a cupboard or shelf) pointing down into a mirror at 45 degrees, then place something in front of the mirror to obscure it, but leaving a big enough hole to shoot through.

I can't give you anything else without seeing the location and the angles you hope to get.

Keep in mind a 12 minute record limit and shallow DOF.

A GoPro or something similar will work a lot better in a situation like this if you can get your hands on one.

Is it some place in a house? Do you have a camera around all the time?Just set the camera on a table, counter, or a shelf.
