Sticky Lens

Hello everybody. I have a real issue here. I bought my sony a55 on the first day it came out last year, seems as if sony released a "bad batch" of stock 18-55mm lenses with the a55 camera. It is very sticky and bounces my camera even slightly when on a tripod and that is a huge no-no for film making. i was wondering what i could do short of buying a new lens to help this issue. Whether it may be an application of graphite or a special product made for cameras? Anybody with information please let me know asap as i need to know soon. Any feedback about this lens is fair game to me.
