watch Battlefield Short Action Scene

Hey everyone!

Just finished my last film that has taken me a while to do because of the amount of effects and tracking involved in it.

As you will probably see its a Battlefield 3 inspired film as i love the game and cant wait till its out.

Would love good & bad feedback. I know there is a few continuity errors with the explosions and flames but there was some problems in making it and it turned out to be too much hassle.

Enjoy!

PS. Turn down you volume a little :P

That was actually pretty fun... older actors, or a story explaining the youthfulness of the soldiers would go a long way, but the SFX were actually pretty well executed, I've seen much worse on SYFY movies :)

The hand to hand section could have used a bit more intensity. Pull the actors a little farther apart and have them COMMIT to the swing... the angles were god for this section, so it could have been sold well.

That was certainly better than most "action scenes" on Youtube.

My biggest beef with it is that EVERYONE IS OUT IN THE OPEN! If they're all unloading on each other, and aren't hiding behind any cover, the fight ought to be over in <5 seconds. Even setting up a few pieces of plywood and some trash cans would be enough to suspend my disbelief, but as it is I can't take it seriously.

This doesn't, however, detract from the well above-average amount of work you've put into making a good video for Youtube. Props!
