Hey guys!
So last night, my film 'The making of Wasabi' won the OzAsia Wasabi short film festival based in Adelaide Australia! Its was the first film me and my cast/crew had submitted to any kind of competition and we were so shocked to take out the top honour. We also one the 'People's choice award'.
We took home $1500! and our film plays before every film played at the OzAsia film festival for the next fortnight, viewed by thousands of people. :O
The only criteria was that 'Wasabi' had to be mentioned or referenced in the film (Sticking with the Asian theme of course). So there was almost no boundaries.
I wanted to share it with you guys. its not perfect by any means, but i think they really liked our originality as our film was so vastly different to every other film submitted.
It's a 'Mockumentary' and its just under 10mins.

Also, there is nothing like how crazy nervous you get before you film starts, and then the overwhelming, light headed feeling you get when the crowd laughs loud and applauds. I've never been so sick with nerves and then so goofily happy afterwards. ...I could get used to that?
