80-200mm f4 lens

Alright i have a gh1 with a fd adapter and at the moment only trying to buy fd lenses.

I have a 50mm 1.8

and im getting a 28mm really soon

I found a RMC Tokina 80-200 f.4 lens with fd mount . Do you think it would be wise to have this lens or would it not really be used for film-making? If so what would be a good price to pay for a lens like this?

I wouldn't pay more than $25 or $30 for it max.
First, it's slow as Christsmas (as virtually all zooms are unless they are crazy expensive). Second, zooms have really limited utility in narrative filmmaking. For event work where there is no time to swap the lens they make sense, for films they just aren't worth much.

yeah i found one for 25 bucks but im not sure if im going to end up getting it. Idk i just felt it would be soo convienent to be able to zoom but i guess thats why people have lots of primes. I gotta start building up my collection!
