Does anyone know how to get a street permit to shoot in Rockland County NY area?

Use the blue pages in the phone book, and call the city, and the county clerk. They will know. :D

Pretty easy to get a permit. You will have to have liability insurance. Your better off getting production insurance for the year, rather than for a few weeks ... it pays off.

If you require insurance, instead of getting a policy for an entire year, you can ride on ours. There are some requirements I can discuss in detail with you, and we require the contract to be signed a minimum of 2 weeks prior to shoot date to process paperwork and stuff, but it will be substantially cheaper than getting your own insurance for a whole year. We have a $2million liability and $1million equipment rental package as our standard package. Workers comp is extra. Please email me if you’re interested.
