This is admittedly a flawed short doc, not on Matt's part, but I didn't bring my A-game with the camera and the original export-to-tape process had some dropped frames so there is fallout in audio. It's never been available to a wide audience and for years I've been promising Matt that someday I'd get around to posting it on YouTube. Since I'm doing a short doc on a similar location (see SHERYL'S KEYOSK (http://www.indietalk.com/showthread.php?t=30250)) I figured it was about time.

Check it out, warts and all, when you can or if you want. :)

Very nice. Pastoral. My favorite bit was the phone call audio over the sandwich making. Further proof that story is king. I love this.

Sometimes people just being people is the best story of all. Cheers.

The bit about "we're going camping once, then I'm turning it into a sandwich shop" is a favorite of mine.

Sweet little character study.

Ain't it? The trailer shop doesn't exist anymore, but last time I knew, they were still making Roland's subs inside the tire store that is located right behind where the trailer was in the parking lot. Glad we got the footage when we did.

Good to know they are still making people happy with sandwiches
