more addictive behavior..

Last night I brought home:
zenitar 16mm f2.8 m42 mount lens
macro bellows system (m42 mountings all around)
helios m44-2 58mm f2 ( I already had a lens MOSTLy like this m44-4) but it was free with the bellows.

I got issues.

I'm stuill searching for the deal on a Super Tak 85mm 1.9, they generally go for about $300 (I think $50 is the most I paid for any of those other lenses). Still hoping to luck into one cheap before I bite the bullet and pay the bg bucks to complete my set.

wheatgrinder: I know the feeling. :D ...and I see some familiar lenses mentioned.
For a while, those M42-mounts were irresistible.

Though I just purchased a Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 so I've stopped buying lenses for now. ;)

I have a couple of Canon Zooms, and the 50mm 1.4, but no plans to use them for video at all. They are for stills where I want autofocus. All my video will be vintage pentax and yashica exclusively. I met with my DP last night, he's pretty excited about it.

ebay of course, but you gotta hunt local too. Its the thrill of chasing down a pawn broker and getting that great deal that drives your need! Finding a gem at a thirft shop or garage sale.. and craigslist.
