Black Swan or Bronson?

Hey all. I'm a HUGE fan of both Black Swan and Bronson...both shot on s16mm. In your opinions, what was a better use of the medium?

I will say that Bronson is more 'cinematic' and Black Swan was more 'handheld'...but in terms of lighting and style...which do you prefer?

How much money do you think they saved shooting on S16 instead of 35mm? I know that isn't an issue for Aronofsky but I wonder. It's inspiring that directors with big cash shoot on accessible mediums. How much is a reel of 16mm film once you develop it nowadays? If you cut on a computer, and go straight to Youtube or DVD without a cinema blow up?

This might help:

I'm watching the Black Swan trailer now. I've never heard of Bronson, I'll check that out too...

Watched them:

Black Swan Trailer. It was a little slow at first, and I couldn't get past the grain, but I got into it after about a minute. I liked the crunch sound as her toe turns on the floor. The whole thing has a fresh late seventies look to it. DA really knows how to cut a trailer... A slow build up to a super fast finish, like the Pi trailer.

Bronson looks awesome too. Some shots are too a bit over-the-top, too orangey. But that's a colour correction or lighting problem, not to do with S16 itself. I prefer the shots with flatter colours. Then, the S16 really seems to shine. Again, there's a kind of retro look that I love.
