One of my film making inspiration is to see/hear/read about people that create something amazing using objects around you for no cost.

This guy is brilliant.. He created an electric cigarbox guitar (out of 1x4 plank and a cigar box), and uses CHICKEN BONE as a capo..

Yea cigar box guitars are not a new phenomena but they are fun. Might be the most famous guitar box player was Bo Diddley. His guitar in this vid is a bit more advanced than the guy in the other vid, but some of his early stuff shows a basic cigar box. Just a side note, you still have to outfit it with pick-ups, and electrics to amplify. I posted another for fun.:D:lol:

Pretty cool.

To me it serves as a nice reminder that music itself is very much a contraption of useful noise.

Punk As A Doornail http://zenweasel.com/images/smilies/smiley_rock.gif

Guitar is an old skateboard, with a twirly Dr Suess-ish cat-in-the-hat top. Modified bass strings; electric pickups randomly attached somehow. Uses a half-filled whiskey bottle as a slide.

This video doesn't do them justice. They are awesome (and really funny) live.
