Someone in my 'hi' thread about bluetooth mics. I wasn't sure where else to put it, so I'm making this the place and hoping it's correct.
The short answer is:
They're simple lav mics that connect via bluetooth rather than just standard RF. The frequency locks in, and locks interference out. I can't say that they match up to a professional lav system for audio quality, but for my documentary work, they're great! Sony makes them specifically for my HD camcorders. I can be almost 100' away and still get a clear connection.
They're the ECM HW2.
I'd like to see about a bluetooth mic system that allows me to record onto a digital recorder like the ICD BM1VTP for additional audio.
Hope this is what you were asking about, and I apologize for not recalling your name before beginning the post.
