Seinfeld Appreciation Thread

I dunno about you guys, but I love Seinfeld. Let's reminisce. Favourite episode? Favourite main character? Favourite secondary character? Favourite moment? And so on....

Personally, I think The Opera, The Serenity Now, The Bizarro Jerry, The Chinese Restaurant, The Red Dot, The Mango, The Marine Biologist, The Jimmy, The Soup Nazi and The Bottle Deposit are my favourites. That's as small as I can make that list.

George is probably my favourite main character, but he's in a constant battle with Elaine. I'm a big fan of Puddy, Frank and Estelle Costanza, J. Peterman and Bette Midler (:D) too.

Best quotes would have to be:

"The sea was angry that day, my friends, like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli."
"It's chocolate, it's peppermint, it's delicious."
"We don't like you George."
Aaaaaaaaaaaand
"So it's a mailbag, so what?"
"So what? Do you know whose mailbag that is? Son of Sam. The worst mass murderer the post office ever produced."
"Where did you get this?"
"I took over his route. And boy, were there a lot of dogs on that route."

The best moment of the entire show (for me) is when Elaine rips off George's toupee, goes to the window and throws it out, screaming "I don't like this thing, and this is what I'm doing with it!"

Oh my god I've totally psyched myself into a Seinfeld marathon now.
Anyway, let's reminisce :D

"Junior Mint?"

"It's a bro!"

"It's not a purse..."

"Don't look him in the eyes. Do not ask for crackers."

"Where did I park the car?"

Boy in the bubble...

Kramer adopts a highway...

"MY BOYFRIEND IS A MARINE BIOLOGIST!!!"

The illegal lobster cages...

Man hands...

Elaine dancing...

Kramer jumping up and down on the plane to get water out of his ears...

Elaine taking a bite of the 2,000 year-old wedding cake or whatever...

The girlfriend Jerry has to place in the correct lighting...

The girlfriend Jerry can't remember her name. "Vulva!!!"

Kramer buys an old talkshow TV set...

George's wallet overstuffed and blows up on the corner...

Frogger with the street and the video-game cabinet...

Kramer burns down a house with his cigar...

Small room for a pool table...

The puffy shirt...

Jerry tries to bootleg a movie and gets caught...

Kramer as an underwear model...

Kramer falls asleep in the tanning booth the night he goes to meet his black girlfriend's parents...

on and on and on and on and on and on...

LOL

Playing Risk on the subway and Newman gets pissed and hits the board and all the pieces fall...

The ugly baby that people fake as being cute...

The Rye bread incident...

The black market elephant circus showerhead...

Kramer goes crazy because a neon sign is outside his window...

Jerry's chess game between his brain and...

roc, i officially love you. you just reminded me of so many episodes, i wonder how long it would take to watch the entire series...

elaine dancing aka 'a dry heave set to music' :D

cf Mr Kramer would like to schedule a meeting with you at the coffee shop in ten minutes. Can I tell him you'll be there?

<3

"It's the wood that makes it good!"

"THESE pretzels are making me thirsty!"

"He's a sideler"

"Yada , Yada , Yada"

"If the cops ask you to describe her how well could you do it" "Oh yea, they'd catch her in 10 mins" When Jerry sees georges girlfriend topless.

My cousin was getting married, and my dad had to do a reading (catholic wedding reading from the bible) he went up there and he ALMOST instead of saying the reading just said "These pretzels are making me thirsty." and everyone would have replied in their own way of saying it. But since he had been an alter boy in his youth he decided he couldn't. I told him he MUST do it at my wedding

P.S. Another of my favorites...

"Believe it or not, george isn't at home
please leave a message, at the beep.
I must be out, or I'd pick up the phone,
where could I be?
Believe it or not I'm not home!!!"

"Festivus for the rest of us."

My favorite American TV show...

"It's the wood that makes it good..."

"Vile weed!"

"My Rods and Cones Jerry, they're all messed up!"

Three quotes from my favorite episode.

OMG HOW COULD I FORGET THIS ONE:

Kramer goes commando. I don't know if this is exactly word for word:

"I'M HANGIN OUT THERE JERRY AND I'M LOVIN EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!!!!"

"All that stands between us is a thin piece of linen."

George becomes a hand model and burns his hands at the end of the episode.

George pees in the shower...

John Voit's bitten pencil that Kramer has...

Elaine uses the super meat cutter to shut the cat up next door. Then she breaks it because she cuts her heels off...

The man bag that everyone thinks is a purse and Jerry says it's European...

Haha. The memories...

"Well, we got to talking, went to the movies, and yadda yadda yadda, I'm very tired today."

Kramer gets a job as a horse and carriage buggy driver...

And he feeds him huge cans of beans! ahahaha

The marble rye bread.

There's so many things to remember in that show. My father is the all time greatest fan of Seinfeld. He likes to tell people that "They say it's a show about nothing, but really it's a show about EVERYTHING." He says pretty much every day of his life something happens to him that he can relate back to that show.

oh. my. god. forget mercy street. i will kick you up and down mercy street. lol :D
what is your favourite sitcom then? it's interesting how completely different tv is in various parts of the world. and the same goes for movies too i suppose

Well it's an American sitcom, they don't show it on your side of the pond, but they show it in Australia? Thats quite odd.

Whats amazing is how different the news is everywhere except in the U.S. Your news actually gives you facts and news. Our news gives opinions on the news, not actually the news. :weird:

hahahaha, I love seinfeld.
and it's also
"these pretzels.... THEY'RE MAKING ME THIRSTY"
'Marisa TOMEI"
"Do you have any butter" *as kramer looks through his fridge*
"I don't have a square to spare"
"What the f*** are you doing!? You little piece of s***" <-- Favorite episode, I don't know the name but it's about non fat yogurt.
Kramer is my favorite character.
not sure about secondary yet.

I'm not a big "Sit-com" guy, I like the "The Big bang Theory".

The only programmes I've watched have been "Sopranos" & "True Blood"

As for the news, our country is set out to depress, murder on the front page and triumphs in the margins.
