hey guys,

currently planning a shoot for a 10 part web series, looking for a camera but not sure what to use.
I know of some canon A1's that I have used before but are there better options out there for web video?

cheers :)

What's your budget? What kind of stuff will you be shooting? More inside/low light? Lot's of movement or slow dolly shots?

I was quite happy with my Panasonic DVX100. It translated fine to web. High Def would be better, but ...
I've found that filmmakers tend to throw a lot of money toward their cameras these days. Why spend $10,000
or even $5000 on a camera until you have made your distribution choice. The web is forgiving. And after's the story that counts. You can get used Panasonics for $500-$1000. I've filmed a feature movie (that was sold) with the DVX100.
