Toronto film festival?

Hi Guys

Im still a newbee on all the festival stuff, never really been to one besides the NZ film festival.

Just wandering if anyone has ever been to the Toronto film festival?

How does it compare to Sundance, like is Sundance more prestigous then Toronto? Is Toronto just as hard to get your film selected as Sundance?

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on this subject -- I'm not. But the impression I get is that Sundance is for Hollywood "Indies"; it's totally political, and you need connections to get in. I'm not even planning on submitting to them.

I've not heard the same about Toronto. It's quite tough to get in, but Sundance is pretty much impossible.
