Buying Used DVX100s

I'm buying a couple of used DVX100s (Not A or B, just the regular) for about a grand each. All of them have about 300 hours or more used on the heads. What should I be looking for when I receive the camcorder (certain problems)? I will have a 60 days warranty.

Hopefully you have a vendor that'll let you test the thing thoroughly before you buy it. Sorry I can't be more help... All I can say is I love my DVX and it's very rarely let me down...
