About the project
The Sexy International Paris Film Festival is a non profit French association (Loi 1901).
Jason Turley created the first festival in Melbourne, Australia in 2007 with the first Sexy International Film Festival premiering in Melbourne in 2008. A tour followed of London, Paris, San Fransisco and New York with a showcase of the best films from Melbourne. In 2009 the French version of the festival was established to focus on primarily Francophone content as well as devoting sessions to internationally panoramas. Despite the many film festivals around the world, and believe me, there are thousands, few focus on these themes in one festival - Sex, Sexuality, Love and relationships, and in particular France, the sexiest country on the planet, which is why we believe this festival is perfect for Paris.
We will bring together cinema, performance and music for four days of screenings, music, and performance all exploring Sexy.

In Oct of 2008, the first SIFF-Paris took place at Cinema L'Archipel. It was small but it proved that regardless of its size, people were interested. So we are invigorated the idea and in 2009 re-invented the festival with our goal - to a have world class programme of films that entertain, SIPFF 2010 is coming in the last week of June and we need your help. From bookings, to transportation, to marketing and promotions, equipment and venue rentals, hotels and hospitality, the costs associated with producing the festival are huge. With corporate sponsors not willing to put their money in, (especially for a second year event), and government cultural funds not available for us, we need every kind of support to make this the best festival for this year, and for the future.
Our program for 2010 is huge with more than 50 films in our programme. Along with our Francophone and International shorts programme we are also hosting retrospectives including a panorama of Australian short films, and a programme of Francophone Women in Cinema curated by Pippa Rimmer. On top of that we have French premieres, live music performances and soirees all themed to something sexy, which is sure to entice all. This is an ambitious project, and with your help, we can make it happen and keep it happening every year with even more wonderfully high quality sexy films and live performances.
EVEN THE SMALLEST DONATION HELPS!! As this project's term extends beyond the Festival end date, we will be modifying our awards program after the Festival.
