I am actually glad this site has this section as it is usually awkward to start posting in a forum. My name is Dave Jacobs, I am an independent filmmaker from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I took film production at the University of Windsor and am currently working on independent films and documentries.

I enjoy working on all different genres of film, both writing and directing. I have worked on feature films, shorts and documentries. My love for film started with photography and worked its way to motion pictures as I grew in experience.

I am joining this forum as an outlet for advice, stories and just somewhere to share ideas with people who actually know what I am talking about for the most part.
