Just brought home the canon HF200
Downloaded cineform neoscene
converted some clips
I can work with them in premiere ok..
in ae, I can only get 10 sec RAM Previews of any of my new HD footage..

I have a dual core AMD 3GHZ
3 GB RAM
XP32

Im guessing that's all I can expect from my system :(

3GBs for HD isn't a lot. I've done a 45 minute film on a similar system, but now I'm rocking my Core i7 with 6GB of RAM. You really feel the difference! Actually, 10 secs of preview is more than what I used to get on the old system.

Try reducing the playback resolution? It's an option on your Preview panel.

OK, not so sad anymore.. still get short previews, but I can live with it, until I get a new PC (next year!)
