How do I export my iMovie project into Final Cut Pro? See, I've edited an hour already on iMovie and I guess it's not powerful enough for feature films so now it's lagging (or maybe 'cause I have a Mac Mini). See for my first feature that was rejected by Sundance (sorry, tellin' everyone since I'm still mad with how they told me), it lagged as well after I edited an hour or so of footages. I don't want to lose all the work I've doing for my second film now that I've gotten Final Cut Pro. PLEASE some help?

(SORRY, I know I double-posted this on a different section just now because I had just realized THIS section existed and seemed more proper for my question!)

I'm fairly sure there was an option like "Export to Final Cut Pro XML" under the Share menu in older versions of iMovie, but I can't check right now.

I'm fairly sure I have the latest version of iMovie. Hmm... *checks iMovie*

Any luck? I say older versions just because I've never really used the most recent one, having moved onto FCP.

Oh, yes. You can, but if you've already edited sound and title cards iMovie -- tough luck. Final Cut doesn't allow you to bring that with you.
