Keep in mind that the search function is your friend. Everyone here is always very glad to help you out, but a lot of the "basics" questions have been asked and answered many times.

Haha, you know, that's some of the best starting advice I could've asked for - I always make the rookie mistake of repeating questions (then receiving stern messages that someone else has already asked that).
