Super 16mm Krasnogorsk-3 Important questions

Hello there,

I have a couple of questions about the Krasnogorsk-3 super 16mm. Am i Suppose to have a single perf or a double perf film? where can I get single perf film if it is required?

The other thing is that there is a little space at the bottom of my gate which looks to me like the single pref should be there?

Thank you

If your K3 has been modified for Super16, then you should use single-perf. You can get that directly from Kodak.

If your K3 is standard, then you can use either.

I don't understand this question. Can you clarify, or post a picture?

16mm film has perfs on both the "top" and the "bottom".

Single perf has perfs on only one side. When you put a
roll of single perf film into the camera the "teeth" will
only grab the sproket holes if it's loaded correctly. If you
load it the wrong way you will know before you even
close the camera.

By the way, single-perf is normal camera film. If you order from Kodak is will be single-perf, take a look at their site.
