hello, I would like to know if there is any good free software on the market to help create my film. I have Got windows movie maker but is there any better ones.

As far as Windows & Mac, you can get the basic versions of just about any NLE for roughly $100 - not free, but a big savings over the complete packages that will do the majority of what most non-pro editors will need. That someone was me.. ;) The big two to look at would be cinelerra (http://cinelerra.org) and KDEnlive (http://www.kdenlive.org/) Also, Blender3D (http://www.blender.org), which is a 3D modeling/rendering/etc program has some NLE functionality built into it, but apparently it's a bit convoluted. The benefit of course is that it's free and available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. |
