Howdy, Partner! From Dallas

Hello, my name is Mark. I'm now getting a bit more serious in movie making after getting laid-off from my full time, industry related job of 16 years. Kinda lost a bit of the passion during those years, but it's all coming back very quickly, now that I'm back on the streets... I like all aspects of filmmaking, but enjoy shooting the most. Can't wait to read these passion-filled threads. Thanks

Welcome Grasshopper!

I'm one of the audio guys here.

"Young man; how is it that you do not?"

Man, it sucks to become unemployed like that, but on the other hand - you mention the ol' fire sparkin' up again. There's nothing like doin' what you love, for sure.

Thanks, Steve. Saw the writing on the wall in advance, so losing the job wasn't a huge surprise, but still doesn't make things too much easier. All my friends are into making shorts, so we keep busy.
