I want to put a clip at the beginning of a project, but all the rest of the video starts almost at the beginning. Is there any way i can just move all the edited scenes at once down a little instead of one at a time? thanks

Click on the auto ripple then click and hold on the first clip on the time line and move it down
the time line and all the other clip will move down behind it.

*or* switch from the normal edit tool to the selection edit tool, select your whole movie, and move everything together down the timeline.

*or* place your cursor at the beginning of the timeline, select "insert" and then select "time" and add however much time you need.
