A checklist?

I'm shooting a short next month and it's going to be my biggest project yet. I'm not concerned with anything, however I want to prevent any problems, and usually my biggest problem is forgetting something. I'm looking for a checklist for a director or short film? Anything along those lines. Does anyone have one to share or know of any online? Thanks.

A general check list would be nearly useless. Each project
is so different..

For example;
as the director do you need to keep a checklist of all the
props? Or do you have someone doing that?
As the director are you responsible for the tripod and tapes?
As the director are you responsible for craft service and meals?

If in your case you are handling everything from the band-aids
to the transportation from the stingers to the call times then
your list is going to be much longer than a director who is
having everything covered by others.

Back in the day I was responsible for everything. The last short
film I made I had a producer and she had several people who
handled everything.

My check list was:
1- location address
2- location directions
3- call time

So what, exactly, are you responsible for? My suggestion would
be to make a list of everything you are responsible for. Posting
a general list that includes grip equipment wouldn't help you if
you have someone doing that or if you aren't using grip equipment.
Posting a general list that includes storyboards wouldn't help
you if you have someone else doing that or if you aren't using
storyboards.

But I hear ya. On my last short (for the 48 Hour) since I have
boxes of DV tapes and we were using my camera I was also
supposed to bring both. I didn't make a list past those three I
mentioned and I left the tapes at home.
