Thinking of getting a new monitor to update myself from CRT to somthing good for video editing.

Should I get a cheap HDTV or a normal LCD monitor?

I would like to do HD video editing in the future, which monitors are best?

There's some pro's and cons about getting one or the other.

HDTVs are more expensive, they have an HDMI jack for blueray and onther HD hookups. They also double as a field monitor if your shooting HD. Better sound, multiple outputs, controller.

I think they might be better in the Hrtz section too, but I may be wrong.
