Does anyone know any good sites where i can download FREE video footage?

Im in the mood to do some effects editing (Trials) and have no footage on my new desktop as of yet.

There aren't many that do completely free footage.
Most sites are just royalty free.

Thanks a million, yeah i noticed that also. Everything i stumbled accross claimed the footage was free and then had a $24 price tag on each clip. :(

Internet Archive is a great site. If you're into old movies you can download loads of classics for free because of expired copyright.

I hadn't noticed that collection.

I have multiple shots from there in my film. I also have about $600 worth of "paid for" footage as well.
