Can someone please tell me if I will need to get permission to use news clip from the mainstream news channels like ABC, NBC for 15 or 20 seconds clips from the past.
And also if I wanted to use a small section of a popular Top 10 music video on the TV in my short film...how do I go about it. This is a low budget film, and all this content is the premise of my film so I really cant do without it.
