generally i'd like to know people favourate type of films and why?

Hi, I'm from the UK too.

My favourite kind of films are Thillers with sci-fi and film noir undertones. I just like the kind of atmosphere that's achieved.

For pure entertainment I like action and war films and the occasional romantic comedy. I'm a big fan of "old" films (30's & 40's) and love feel-good films. I also like psychological thrillers. I can't stand slasher films.

what about 30's 40's slap stick comedy's?

ummm i can't say i have a favourite type, but i love anything by gus van sant because he's just a genius and i see alot of myself in him and his films..

I dont care what its about as long as it has Christopher Walken in it. :D
