Has anyone seen any data about unit sales of indie DVD's?

For example I read in an old issue of Billboard Magazine that SoundScan reported that the average independent music album sold only 1,438 units in 2001. SoundScan also reported that out of nearly 30,000 independently released titles in 2001, more than 24,000 scanned LESS than 1,000 units!

But I never see data on indie DVD sales. Anyone know anyone who has access to SoundScan?

I could never find any DVD sales numbers. So our numbers we used for investors were licencing high and low numbers based on what the average paid in different territories. Stacy Parks carries those numbers on her site filmspecific.com. The numbers on her site are usually from the last market, she keeps them updated.

Record labels all have access. You have to pay a good sum of $ for access. They look for high sales of unsigned artists so they can make them sign with the devil.

I don't think soundscan handles DVD sales, sound = music, but maybe they have another division.
