sorry, couldnt find the correct place to post this.......
ok in my first feature length film "darkness descending" i hope to start production in nov but i'm seriously behind on script, so that date could just be a dream :D , i need a werewolf for one scene from a variety of different shots and angles, he is running, jumping, fighting, eating etc i was thinking of doing this through a combo of cg and costume, although as much costume as i can get away with because i have very little experience with cg.. just wondering if anyone had any thoughts/suggestions/advice/resources etc...
thanks

Good werewolf's are tough to create. You're going to need a makeup artist if you're serious about this. A good makeup artist will be able to create a werewolf. It may cost you, but if it's an important shot that you want to show in full light with CUs and detail...you'll need to find a makeup artist.

You can find them on Myspace or other social networks (I'm sure there are makeup FX forums all over the place).

If you quickly show the werewolf in low light...you can get away with suggestive makeup...but if it's CU and well lit...you'll need detail and quality.

You also should decide what kind of werewolf you want...full classic werewolf...half transformed...more wolf-like or more human like? Very hairy...not so hairy...you have the freedom to create what you want--it's your choice.

Good luck.
