Hello, I am thinking of getting an EF adapter for my XL2 but cannot find much genuine information bar some flame wars on a few forums.
Does the adapter really magnify the zoom by 7x making every lens an extreme telephoto? If so then this kills any chance of wide angle shots etc.
Will the quality of the image differ from using my 20x IS lens? Or is it simply to use the different focal ranges of the various EOS lenses?
Also, I am interested in getting a wide angle adapter for use with my 20x IS lens after hearing they were good. I assume the only option is the $300+ Century adapters and the $100 Ebay ones will be too crappy?
