Sorry to throw myself amongst people who probably have a lot more credibility when it comes to creating artefacts but myself and my production crew are stuck.
We are currently undertaking a module based around creating a studio based magazine show and we literally are stuck on music for the opening titles. The show itself is being marketed as a pre going out show for students but the music we currently have for our titles is too chilled and laid back. We are after something upbeat but not deafeningly so and as it is aimed at students, it has to be a little edgy too.
I was wondering if anyone had any websites that specialised in royalty free music - sadly being students ourselves, we can't actually afford to pay out anything for it. The other problem is that if we were to send release forms to a band, it would have to be a UK based band as we need to receive them back asap.

So after that long essay (sorry all), any help would be more than greatly appreciated.

Hey there!

I would put my hand up to help you here, but I'm flat out with my own projects at the moment.

Have you checked out Moby Gratis?
