anyone know of a place to get stock footage? i need some of snowy mountains for my film. it was shot on the panasonic hvx200 if that matters any.

Internet Video Archive has a lot of free stuff, but to get nice looking HD footage you'll need to go Pond5 or one of the other "royalty Free" sites. There are no royalties, but for HD you're looking at $60 to over $200 for maybe a 20 or 30 second clip.
