watch The Good Knife, trailer. Beware! Super low budget.

My first short. 20minutes and 99percent finished. Just need to add gun smoke to one scene. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
This clip contains a little bad language.

I'll just say this. The acting was good and overall it's okay. The baby crying is too reminiscent of Eraserhead. And from my own personal stand-point, cussing and saying fuck way too many times takes away any of the edge the words have. That's why I'm not a big fan of Rob Zombie movies. He uses the language to make his characters badass, instead of actually making them badass.

Overall the clip looked good. Good Luck with it.

I really liked the opening set and lighting--and the acting was solid. It confused me shortly after the opening shot...made no sense...

The opening felt like a Gilliam set and situation...which is a huge compliment.

It turns mushy really quickly though.

Here is the finished film. Hope u guys enjoy.

wow wow this was way more cool than I expected. I love the look of it, very vintage cinema I think. Or it at least gives that impression. And the comment about the swearing, I think in this instance, and in the instance of Rob Zombie films, the point is that there is no edge to it. It's supposed to not be a big deal to the characters, like they swear all day. It makes them look more bad ass. OOPS censor!

But I will be seeing this.

Thanks man. I made a cencored version with all the swearing beeped out. It sounds like a monkey on crack with a morse code machine.
Your head full of water movie sounds great. Have u finished the script?

I haven't checked the full film yet. I like also the setup and the acting of the main character.
I fully agree on the overuse of the word "fuck". Not for the sense of bad taste, I use it a lot on my characters when I write. But also been told that when overused it actually degrades the rest of what the character says, and loses power, more like looking ridiculous.

As soon as I have time I will watch the full film, it looks promising
