Whats up indietalk,
My name is Kory Gasser, I just finished my first draft of a feature length film. If you like disturbing dramas, work on my movie.
I'm moving to Columbus this fall to start school. Over the summer I'm buying some sweet equiptment to work with. Canon XH-A1, lighting, mics, blah blah, everything. So far the only people involved is my friend and I. I'm looking for anyone who wants to help, no experience necessary, this is my first movie too. As long as you're not a complete noob and know a little bit about what's going on.
Cast:
I need a woman who looks to be in the 20s
A man who looks over 30 ( or if you can grow a huge beard that helps)
Crew:
I'm learning how to use this camera, but if you already know how to use it (manual functions) then I can use you.
Someone who's pretty decent with setting up lights
Someone who can operate a boom
Anyone who thinks they know more than me about anything associated with production (lights, sound, camera)
I was planning on doing the scoring on my own but if you're good I'll let you have at it.
This is essentially lo/no budget so there is no cash compinsation. However we can provide meals, possibly transportation, you can stay at our place when we film if you'd like, and you'll obviously get a dvd copy of the film. This is a serious production and we really want to enter this into some festivals in ohio and wherever else.
We're trying to meet some cool people who love making movies, and build a network. If you want us to help on your film, we know our fair share and could definitely help.
