Any advice on how to get television and radio news clips, etc., would be greatly appreciated. I considered filming off of the television or computer, but am hoping for good quality clips to load into my film project.

Thanks!!

You can get some stuff from here:

For more recent stuff, I've got to believe that you need to go to the production company or the TV station (CBS, ABC, NBC etc) and buy footage from them. Remember, even if you shoot it off of the TV or get it off of the internet, you're dealing with copyright issues. Depending upon the intended use of your video, you could be stepping into a mountain of pain!

Good luck with it.

Thank you! I'll check it out. It's a short film being done in an educational setting. Not for sale, although we will screen it for the actors, family, friends, etc. for a donation of their choosing. If it turns out, we could possibly enter it into a festival or something, but either way we should make sure we're on the up-and-up.

Thanks for the info! Appreciate it.

Clips of what? You'll need the rights to use anything.
